This person will manage the day-to-day operations for all GSN productions, including pre-production setup, day-to-day show operations and post-production. The Production Manager will be the main point of contact for all internal GSN/SPE departments and work to trouble shoot issues and find solutions.
You will be responsible for… (not limited to):
- Partnering with Executive Director in the creation, updating, and distribution of recurring departmental reports; maintaining internal docs to ensure they are fully up to date
- Executing and distributing of weekly production and post-production calendars and budget status updates; distributing and/or supervising distribution of call sheets
- Assist with the on boarding of new production teams for series; to include thorough training of all policies and procedures and continue supporting during production, procuring office space, production payroll and crew deal memos; securing/negotiating vendor bids
- Monitoring, managing, and reviewing the accuracy of all show deliverables; assist productions and post with deliverables.
- Maintaining all departmental tracking documents and media storage.
- Coordinating, understanding and confirming receipt of all applicable insurance certificates
- Reviewing, tracking and maintaining all legal agreements from development through post production
- Working with Executive Director to manage GSN Producer Guidelines to reflect changes in production requirements as needed
- Managing and organizing all storage of sets, props, wardrobe, production supplies, etc. and GSN assets upon completion of production including tracking storage inventory records and legal correspondence
- Confirming of all program deliverables including, but not limited to, show masters, camera masters and all deliverables outlined in the Producers Guidelines;
- Processing production invoices and payments and interfacing with the accounting department for accuracy and maintaining a grid of the status of all production payments
- Tracking, documenting, and analyzing all budgets sent from producers and documenting all “actuals” spent on shows on a grid
- Interfacing with other Game Show Network departments and manage their production requests
- Assisting with oversight of Production Coordinator(s) and Production Assistant(s) and any department temps.

Education Qualifications:
Required Minimum: BA/BS Degree
Experience Qualifications:
Required Minimum: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in the areas of production and post-production management as well as practical production experience as a production manager.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $81,952 to $85,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.Sony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
