求人ID JR113804 応募する 保存された求人を表示Based in Singapore, the Finance Manager will provide financial business partnering, performance insight and decision support to the commercial teams across Korea, Southeast Asia and India for Sony Pictures Television Distribution (TVD) and Home Entertainment (HE).
The role is responsible for leading territory planning, forecasting and commercial finance activities whilst partnering closely with Sales, Sales Planning and Regional FP&A to support business performance and strategic decision making. Working collaboratively with Home Office Finance, Global Financial Operations and regional support teams, the successful candidate will deliver insightful financial analysis, support new business initiatives across APAC and contribute to finance transformation through automation, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards and emerging technologies.
What you will do:
Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead the preparation of budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans (MRPs) for TV Distribution and Home Entertainment across Korea, Southeast Asia and India.
- Own the territory forecasting process, partnering with Sales and Sales Planning to develop robust financial forecasts based on agreed commercial assumptions and key business drivers.
- Manage territory forecasts and planning submissions through SAP BPC, developing a strong understanding of Sales Planning systems (including RPM) to ensure financial forecasts accurately reflect commercial plans and assumptions.
- Maintain forecast assumptions and supporting schedules, ensuring clear documentation and alignment across Finance and Commercial stakeholders.
- Prepare planning submissions and forecast outputs for Regional FP&A and Home Office Finance.
Business Performance, Insights & Regional FP&A Support
- Analyse territory financial performance, identifying the key drivers behind revenue and contribution forecast variances.
- Build a strong understanding of customer, title and market performance to identify emerging commercial trends and opportunities.
- Deliver timely commentary, analysis and business insights to support Regional FP&A deliverables, forecast reviews and Home Office Finance requests.
- Partner with Regional FP&A to ensure planning assumptions, performance metrics and financial messaging remain aligned across APAC.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other reporting tools to improve business visibility and support data-driven decision making.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities, providing timely insight and recommendations to Territory Leadership and Regional Finance.
Commercial Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Partner with Sales, Sales Planning and Territory Leadership to provide financial insight, challenge and decision support that improves business performance.
- Build financial models and scenario analysis to evaluate licensing opportunities, customer proposals and strategic investments.
- Support new business initiatives across APAC, including Local Content Strategy, emerging distribution models and commercial opportunities such as YouTube.
- Influence commercial decisions by assessing financial risks, opportunities and value creation across the territory portfolio.
- Coordinate and triage ad hoc finance requests, working across RTR, OTC, PTP, Tax, Statutory and Global Financial Operations to connect stakeholders with the appropriate finance support and ensure timely resolution.
Controls and Governance
- Maintain effective financial controls across planning, forecasting and reporting processes.
- Support compliance with Sony accounting policies, US GAAP and internal governance requirements.
- Partner with RTR, PTP, OTC, Tax, Statutory and Home Office Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Identify financial risks, data quality issues and process improvement opportunities, escalating where appropriate.
Projects, Reporting Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation and the adoption of digital finance tools.
- Leverage SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), AI and advanced analytics to enhance planning, reporting and business insights.
- Support the implementation of finance systems, planning enhancements and reporting capabilities across APAC.
- Contribute to regional and global finance transformation initiatives.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines with the professional accounting qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Finance or FP&A.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SAP BPC or other financial planning systems.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI or other reporting and visualisation tools.
- Strong commercial finance and financial modelling skills, with the ability to evaluate strategic opportunities and influence decision making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify key business drivers and communicate meaningful insights.
- Curious, proactive and motivated to improve finance processes through technology, automation and AI.
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to partner effectively across Finance and Commercial teams.
- Collaborative, highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
