This is an important role within the Stockholm based TVD and Home Ent distribution team. The successful candidate will have a passion for the entertainment business & sales, with solid analytical skills & be a great teammate supporting all aspects of the Nordic & Benelux distribution business, including, but not limited to, the following core duties and responsibilities:
In partnership with the Senior TDAM and close collaboration with the rest of the team, to support sales & marketing efforts across the territory achieving and exceeding the annual sales budget across all of our catalogue and New Release products.
What you'll do:
Commercial Responsibility
- Supporting Snr TDAM on delivering the digital fiscal target, with some direct management of assigned smaller accounts, including performance tracking, forecasting and reporting back to the business
- Work closely with the Business Planning & Insights and Finance teams throughout this process to ensure accuracy, robustness and alignment of numbers
- Communicate performance and provide context to the Sr TDAM as part of weekly Commercial meetings
- Proactively track our clients’ activity so we can make informed suggestions and be best in class partners
General Support:
- Be the key support to the VP Nordic, Benelux, & Baltics & Sr TDAM Nordics & Benelux, including booking travel, coordinating trips & client meetings and providing data for relevant presentations
- Assist with tracking team expenses to make sure that we are operating within our T&E budgets
- Keep distribution lists and key deal trackers up to date
- Keep internal tracking documents up to date
- Responsible for managing DTV release rating process when needed
Finished Programming Support:
- Working closely with the Nordic & Benelux Marketing team to create bespoke presentations
- Ensure in-depth product knowledge across SPE’s product categories (with particular focus on deep library).
- With the help of research, seek to understand our clients’ perspective and how we can best adapt our approach accordingly, regularly interacting to ensure we deeply understand their drivers, goals and schedules – help inform the sales teams on clients' scheduling & trends
- Help create regular newsletter content, alongside marketing team, for both internal and external clients
Sony Relationships:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key partners within Sony Pictures Entertainment, sharing best practices and seek to learn from x-LOB and/or international colleagues, as well as across other key divisions at SPE (Theatrical, Home Entertainment, Production, Legal, GMS, People & Organisation, etc.),
What you have:
- 3-4 years of office experience or graduate experience, with experience in working in a team.
- Good understanding of all forms of TV/film distribution: Free TV, Pay TV, Basic TV, Home Entertainment
- Ability to assist in managing the end-to-end sales process: pre-sales analysis, deal preparation, product presentation, negotiation and execution. Post-sales relationship management and deal optimisation.
- Communicative, proactive problem solver, flexible, adaptable, pragmatic and resourceful with strong organisational skills – works independently and uses own initiative.
- Confident presentation and sales skills, adept at managing client relationships as well as internal relationships.
- Understanding of technology, digital distribution business models and client requirements.
- Must be a collaborative teammate; must be able to adapt, with the ability to work hand-in hand with other departments.
- Solid proficiency in Excel and experience in consolidating data and information from multiple sources.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Word, being able to present information in a concise and effective manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or equivalent image editing software.
